I’m very confident that 2021 is going to be a wonderful year because Koi is growing and changing to serve you better! I’ve recently earned my Master Herbalist certification! I’m combining this new credential with my degree in biology; 17 years ‘of experience in clinical and research laboratories, Health and Wellness certification and lifelong dedication to proven natural processes, botanical ingredients and current skincare science to deliver something better, bigger, stronger and more beautiful.
The pain and hardships of 2020 have inspired me to work harder than ever to apply all my experience, knowledge and training to develop Koi products that are the gold standard for effective, all natural and socially responsible skincare! To properly reflect this subtle, but important shift, by February 2021, we will change our name from KOI Beauty Bar to Koi Botanicals. Along with our new name, you will see a higher energy company with updated formulations and exciting NEW products and services.
The Updated Lineup
Turmeric Cleansing Bar will become SOOTHE Turmeric Infused Artisan Soap.
Wheatgrass Cleansing Bar will become RENEWAL Wheatgrass Infused Artisan Soap.
Purple Corn Cleansing Bar will become RESTORATIVE Purple Corn Infused Artisan Soap.
Bare Cleansing Bar will become GENTLE Nourishing Artisan Soap for Sensitive Skin.
What is Changing?
Hydrating Face Cream will become Restorative Beauty Moisturizer. Reformulated with a base of Rose Water, we use the finest and freshest ingredients we could find, for a more effective beauty formula. Great for all skin types.
Pore Tightening Toner will become Refreshing Toner. Our toner will still have the peppermint you love! And with the addition of Witch Hazel, you’ll find a more effective formula that will positively impact the appearance of pores, while controlling oil.
Tree of Life Oil will become Flawless Facial Oil. This will still be our prized Baobab Seed Oil, but we are infusing it with Hibiscus! This encourages an all-round younger, smoother looking complexion.
What’s NEW?
Hydrating Eye and Face Serum! After much research, we felt it was necessary to add a serum to our collection. You can use serum after cleansing, but before moisturizing with the intent of delivering powerful ingredients directly into the skin. Serums are particularly suited for this because they are made up of smaller molecules that penetrate deeply into the skin to deliver a very high concentration of active ingredient. We added powerful ingredients such as Vitamin C to fight free radicals and support natural collagen production along with hyaluronic acid to plump your skin and reduce wrinkles!
Herbal Jelly! The un-petroleum jelly! Petroleum is a byproduct of the oil refining and petroleum jelly is highly refined. It can clog pores, and trap bacteria under the skin. Our herbal jelly has only plant oils and herbs making it an effective and better choice over petroleum jelly where intense moisturization is needed.

As Koi was restructured, it was important that we work with other small businesses. Very excited about your new line-up! Can’t wait to use your new and improved soaps and products and your new facial line as well! I always used bodywash until you introduced KOI Beauty Bars, I absolutely love them and have not used anything else since you introduced them. I use your toner on a regular basis now and love it as well. Very excited to try to new face cram and herbal jelly and definitely the face & eye serum!
